In our daily busy life certain situation, If you have big goals, you’re going to get stressed…
You’re going to get overwhelmed, frustrated and have “up and down” days.
It’s part of the journey. But, here’s what most people forget…
… stress can be a negative or a positive. It all depends on how you use it.

It can be a motivator or an excuse.
And it’s this choice that determines your future because your only real competition is with yourself. Every day you’re competing with your emotional reaction to any given situation.
You either let frustration, overwhelm and stress hold you back… or… you turn it into fuel to drive your forward faster.
I’m telling you if you can learn to use stress as a motivator you’ll become unstoppable because no matter what happens, you’ll keep charging forward relentlessly.

So, right now, I want to give you a simple 3-step process for overcoming and controlling stress…

#1. Get Grateful
It’s impossible to feel negative emotions while feeling gratitude.
So, the first step is to stop and think about everything you’re grateful for in life. Write it down or say it aloud. Focus on what’s good… not what’s bad.

#2. Get Perspective
Our brains are hardwired to exaggerate situations and make them seem worse.
It’s a survival mechanism from primitive days. However, in reality, the situation is rarely as bad as our minds make it out to be.
So step #2 is to get an accurate perspective on the source of your stress. You can do this by remembering a few key facts…
• It’s not a life or death situation.
• Your problem is not unique and thousands have experienced it before.
• There are millions of people who’d give anything to have your problems instead of theirs.
Please NEVER forget that somebody else somewhere is praying for the things you take for granted.

#3. Get Into Action
The final step is to stop thinking and get into forward motion.
Don’t overcomplicate this… all you’re looking to do is break the inertia and start moving forward. It could be as simple as writing out your to-do list or exercising. Prove to yourself that you’re in control by taking action even when the mind is trying to stop you.
So, there you have it…

My 3-step process for overcoming stress and turning it into an advantage.
If you go through these 3 simple steps whenever you feel overwhelmed in just a few minutes you’ll be thinking clearer, you’ll feel positive and you’ll be motivated back into action.
